Two and a half years ago, SpiderTech's Lucas Euser was struck by a car while out training on his bike, shattering his knee. This past November, he made a goal to regain his strength lost due to the injury. To accomplish this Euser spent some time in the gym.
The Tour of Qatar has selected 16 teams of eight riders to compete in its 11th edition from February 5-10, 2012. These dates will signal a return to business for many leading lights of cycling's elite.
Germany's André Greipel won the third stage of cycling's Tour Down Under in a bunch sprint Thursday to regain the overall lead he had conceded a day earlier.
Greipel, riding for the Lotto-Belisol team, started the 84-mile stage from Unley in suburban Adelaide to Victor Harbor 2 seconds behind Switzerland's Martin Kohler on general classification.

Australian William Clarke won the second stage of cycling's Tour Down Under on Wednesday, defying the peloton in one of the boldest individual breakaways in the history of the WorldTour event.
26-year-old Clarke was the last rider selected for the six-stage tour when he was added to the UniSA team after finishing fifth and winning the sprint classification at the Australian national road championships.
